I just responded via a blog on my profile page regarding what curvier women 25years of age and up want. Please check it out and if you could take the time, let me know:
- your frustrations.
- your fashion desires
- must haves
- what you've been looking for and cant find.
- what fit issues are not being addressed in the industry and your suggestions to improve them.
This list could go on and on however, whatever you give me, I will share with those I am speaking to. See if they would cut in larger sizes just for our store, and if they currently cut larger sizes, see if they can implement your comments and suggestions and I can sell their improved garments here.
One of the major roadblocks in opening sooner has been the disparity in sizing from one store to another and one designer to another. As well as one cut for all. You and I know we ARE curvy but not all curvy are made the same. I am more athletic and some of you may not be as much. Both of us need more room than that offered in missy but the cut is different for a curvy athletic build to a curvey yet less athletic shape. You get what I mean? I wish manufacturers and stores got it!
SO, I am fine tuning a shopping system that will direct you simply to your fit without any confusion after you answer a few questions prior to your purchase. I feel we are extremely close.
You can help me greatly. It is VERY IMPORTANT to get our members measurements so I can communicate effectively on our behalf: please get your measuring tape out and take a few minutes to accurately get your basic measurements:
bust
waist
high hip
low hip
thigh circumference
outside hip to floor length
crotch to floor length (rise)
height
(no need for weight)
Last but not least, what is your current dress, pant and shoe size?
I assure you, your help in this process is vital to a stress free shopping experience and directing those who want our business, toward success and wanting to do more for us for years and years to come.
