There are soooooo many different styles to choose from these days. Thank goodness. Here is a listing of online places to find swimwear - http://www.squidoo.com/plussizebeachwear
Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a red one I think you'll like (it's called The QuikShape Twist Front Swimdress). It's lovely.

I want to jump in and so sorry for such a drastic delay!
why dont you go onto www.swimsuitsforall.com
they have Longitudinal, Delta Burke and a few others!
I have tried a few on and they really have nice support, with the exception of a couple that you have to know will happen when trying on suits.
Their skirted halter (a la Maryln Monroe) in red is to die for.

I would love to get a swimsuit I would feel great in. I have about three swimsuits, none of which I'm crazy about. I need something with some serious bust support at 36 DD, but I don't want to feel I have to cover up all the way to my neck either. I'd still like to feel I look nice, too. :) And I'm pale and have a bit of tummy (who doesn't?). So I want to find something excellent that covers the right things and reveals the right things. Any tips? :)

I have had great luck with Lands End suits (and they truly will let you return anything at any time for any reason). The best suit I have ever bought is this: http://tinyurl.com/dhyc8f I'm a size 22 with DDD cup and needed something underwire. The higher neck line also means no worries about spilling over at the local pool :) The fabric detailing at the waist is really flattering and the the quality of the suit is excellent. Highly recommend.
