Hanging out
If you never baked before, you will now. Keep them fed, listen to what they say around the kitchen table and be open. Dont be afraid to share your opinions and create healthy boundaries within your home that supplies the structure for a trusted group hang out destination. Get to know their parents. Remember you are not their friend, but a parent and a concerned one at that. Be creative with the ways the kids can share time in your home...they might learn something and have fun, what a concept!
