It is so hard to combat this on an everyday basis!
All i can say is write your letters to make your voice be heard to those companies that offend and put women in a "box". Also applaud other companies that rise above the typical fray of "you have to change yourself to be beautiful" and say good job!

Beauty is nothing. The most beautiful "things" exist in the nothing. The space in between opinions, in between judgements, in between preferences.

I think my mother is very beautiful. She doesn't see herself that way as much as I see it (and everyone around her sees it). But she is beautiful. She constantly shows kindness and generosity to others and always seems to be out to encourage and to laugh with others. People have commented to me on how beautiful she is, outside and in, that what is in her radiates outward because she is kind and funny on a different level. It's not a superficial thing. It's who she is. She is very beautiful and definitely my beauty role model. :)
