Wow, I can't believe how long it's been since I've had a chance to sif tthrough email lists and visit onlne communities ... it feels like we've been non-stop since easter!!!

So many things happening in the store ... we wrapped up our model contest with an amazing gala event. The whole thing was really an incredible and inspiring experience ... we had over 600 people vote, and SO much supportive email and even some phone calls! All going toward encouraging the belief that people are ready for a change, and a Canadian outlet for body positivity in fashion.

We hosted a sample sale that was wall to wall wonderful women, so exhilarating to see excited ladies rummagiing for deals!!

We've also hired some new sales staff, as Babs is on the road for the summer - she does a folk festival/country fair/art market tour every year, but this may be the last - we've been so busy, i's hard to believe we can keep the ship tied til she returns!!!

We'v also added some new designers to the mix - local ladies Diane Kennedy and Bon Bon Style

What else??? SUMMER FINALLY APPEARED. Thank the lord and pass the peanuts, as my grandfather would say. Along with it has come an oversensitivity in our alarm motion detector, so I've been driving throuigh the nightmare of construction thath is Vancouver (Yuck) every day to meet the security guys. fuuuuuunnnnnn.

Our new line is trickling in piece by piece, we have a gorgeous new jacket type linen shirt called the holiday top with really elegant silk screening - our new pattern drafter and screen printer Tannis is truly adding something special to the line. We also have some to die for cute long shorts coming in, and a whole bunch more! I'm excited! This has been my first experience with seeing an in-house line come together from block drafting to finished product, all right here in the studio!

It's really pricey to produce everything in Vancouver (though we're so prud to be doing that!), so we've only done small runs for in the shop ... if you wanna see 'em, drop on in!!! If the stuff does well, we'll produce soe for the website. But for now, come and visit!!!
