Sticking Out Your Neck
I came across a great quote today:
"Behold the turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out." ~James Bryant Conant
I'm a totally visual person. I often relate difficult scenarios/decisions to taking a deep breath and stepping off a ledge but I think this one is much better. No?

You come up with the most wonderful things to share. I really appreciate it. yes, things do come from sticking your neck out. but boy is it hard to get the guts up to do it. Once done however, you wonder why did I create such drama around something unknown and ultimately good for me?

It's so true, looking back I often wonder why I made the fuss in the first place. I think we have a tendency to build things up (at least I know I do)... what's the saying... larger than life or something like that.

I was on the road a lot this summer... so glad to be back and home...hunkering in. I am well and feeling great!
