Is it over yet!???
OK...here's the update...We're half-way through the deployment now...and I am MORE than ready for it to just be OVER, and have my husband back! He just bought a international cell phone from another soldier, so I got my FIRST phone call from him since April! I miss him SO much, and some days it's hard to function normally...or even want to get out of bed!
He was supposed to be coming home soon for his 2 week leave...but we just got told that his R&R had been pushed BACK a month. :( SO...it'll be another TWO months that I have to wait to see him again.
Can somebody make it January, so he can come home???

How wonderful that you were able to talk to him! I'm so sorry to hear about his leave being pushed backed. It'll be hard but you can do it. You've made it this far already! You're doing good. It may not feel like it some days but you're doing it and he'll be home soon. Take care of yourself in the mean time.

Thanks for the comment! It has been REALLY tough...by the time he comes home, we'll have been apart for a year, having seen each other only twice. :( I'm just hoping now that fall is here, the time will fly by until he comes home on leave. Being seperated like this is a true test of our marriage. I figure if we can get through this, we can get through anything! I just have to remind myself to take it one day at at time.
