It's been a while since I have written, but alas, here I am! Life is always busy for me this time of year, however, I would not have it any other way! The decorations are up, presents bought, wrapped and under the tree. I love my evenings to sit back, stare at the lighted tree and just relax by the fire with a glass of wine in hand! It has taken me a while to finally realize to have some simplicity and piece of mind in life, you have to learn to enjoy the little things that life has to offer. I recently took 6 weeks off from my stressful job to try and "find myself"~if thats a good way to put it....no actually, I thought I was having heart issues but found out it was panic attacks due to stressful environments. Anyway, during this 6 weeks time I followed doctors orders exactly. Probably the first time I have ever done that! ha! However, for the first time in many years, I started to appreciate, the small country city where I live, my house, the beauty around my home. I never knew that persimmon trees grew in a field between my house and a neighbors (remember I told you I live in the country)...my son loves to climb them and I have made a million pictures lately of him climbing the persimmon trees...oh and there are apple and pear trees too. I knew those were there, but never took the time from my busy schedule to just walk and look....and take in the beauty! Those 6 weeks changed my life alot! I am now back at work, trying hard to balance things and not go back to that "dark place" I was...it's not easy, but prayer and the Lord's guidance will get me there! So, my advice to you all is sit on your front porch, look out your window, whatever it takes, but truly absorb your surroundings and be thankful! MERRY CHRISTMAS!~ Until Later~ Star
