To begin posting, making friends, and all the rest of the fun, you first have to join the site.

• If you haven’t signed up yet, you can see the link on every page. The link will be in the upper-right hand side of the window, and reads “Join EmmeStyle now.”

• Click the left button on your mouse, and it will take you to the sign-up page.

• Once the sign-up page is loaded, left click on the field next to Username.

This is where you’ll choose the name that people will see on the site. This Username will be necessary for you to sign back into the site in the future, and also to retrieve your password if you’ve forgotten it, so make sure your Username is something that is easily memorable. Or better yet, write it down in a place where you can find it later.

• Once you’ve typed your Username, either click the “Tab” button to move the next field, or simply click on the next field to highlight it.

Your E-mail address will only be used for verification, so please use an active email address that you can readily access to verify the sign-up process. I promise that you will not receive any unwanted emails, or emails from third party sources.

• Enter the rest of your information, including your password, which you’ll have to retype, just for confirmation. After that, you’ll have the option to sign up for our EmmeStyle e-mail newsletter. It’s a great way to stay current on all the issues that are most important to women, as well as keep up with any updates on the site. Just check that box to get started.

• And the final step is to read the “Terms of Use.” Click on the orange link—don’t worry, it will open in a new window, so you don’t have to worry about losing the info you’ve already filled out.

Here you’ll see everything you wanted to know about the EmmeStyle.com website and more. When you’re done reading, you can close that window, check off the box to show that you agree to the terms of use, and finally click on “Register now!”

• If you happen to forget to fill in some of the information, the site will instruct you in red as to which field needs to be filled out.

• Within minutes, you should receive an email from our site confirming that you’ve just signed up. Open the email, and simply click on the top link. If your link is not enabled in blue, just highlight the link, right click, copy the link, and paste it in a new browser window.
