I'm running to Vermont this afternoon for SNOW!
I had a lot of fun hearing your reaction to my longing for snow...
Just wanted to share that I am going to go on a snowshoeing adventure this weekend. Taking the gondola up to the top of Stratton Mountain, snowshoeing down and being in bliss!
Mamma's getting some snow!

Glad you and Toby had such a great time! I'm so glad you're getting her active in sports so young...a lot of times girls have gotten the short end of it and then they have trouble keeping up with exercise later on! (At least I know it was true for me and some of my friends in the early 70's...uh, oh, I'm showing my age!)
Now I'm trying to get active again and make up for lost time!
Can't wait to see your pictures. I'm sure Vermont was just beautiful!

Hope you had a wonderful time. I live in CT - snow? What's that? All the snow's gone "out to sea" - our weatherman's favorite turn of phrase!

I had an incredible snowshoeing adventure from Stratton Mountain to the firetower with a group of incredible women, including my 6 year old Toby! She complained that we werent going fast enough so I plunked her right into a snowboard school the next day at Bromley Mountain...wow! Talk about sore muscles Barbie...she had such a blast but couldnt walk the next day. I have never seen her be tired as she had enough energy to run a building! I think I have found a good match for her in the winter:)
Once I get my new software for my camera installed I'll share with you some great shots!
Thank AJ for the Fed Ex offer...I'd laugh so hard if a wet soggy box showed up from you!

Have a great time! I'm working on being more fit so I can finally learn to ski! Since I just recently started a regular exercise program...I want the muscles to get used to that before I take them skiing! :)
I'd never thought about snowshoeing before though.....hope you have a blast!

Boy did we get snow last night! Toby and her friends played all day up an down sledding. Cant wait to get out tomorrow!

I went snow boarding for the first time at Stratton this past weekend...I really LOVED it! I learned how to turn, go front wards, back wards and use the edges... I fell hard a few times which got me to get around falling as hard again. Motrin and water yesterday helped greatly but I cant wait to get out again soon! Thank Frank, you were a great coach!
