I have been having a problem while meditating. My legs and feet fall asleep. Does this ever go away? Are you to break the "flow" and get up to get rid of it? I did and finally I have learned to ignore it. I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else and what do you do to help this? Does your body ever get used to being in a still position for 45 mintues? Is there a seated position that I am not doing that is better? I have a meditation pillow that helps me sit straight and comfortably enough. Fellow meditation practitioners, HELP!

I have this problem with my arms. I have to shake them when it happens. It doesn't happen all the time. You're right it is frustrating. My thinking is better to break and shake than to continue to think about it and have it ruin the whole session.

Emme, please don't sit. You are doing harm. Call or email me if you want to talk. Learn to lay on your back. If you focus on your breath and maybe add a few props for comfort, you'll get so much more our of it.

How am I doing harm? If I lay down, I fall asleep. Being alert and present is what I am going after...
