The link to NEDAwareness week did not work.
However, I signed the treaty, and I'm printing it out to take to work. One of my co-workers is always wonderful about telling the rest of us how beautiful we are, but she's just awful on herself. I've mentioned it before, but maybe this will finally help this lady give herself a break.

Thanks for the shout out, I fixed the link to The National Eating Disorders Association's NEDAwarness Week and great move printing out the treaty for work. Let us know how people react to it.

Thanks Emme...the links works fine now. There's a lot of information there!
I'll be taking the treaty to work tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes!

Hi Emme! The ice storm knocked out our internet yesterday, so I'm just finally getting back to you.
Everyone was surprised by the treaty, but overall it was well received. The lady I mentioned before looked at it briefly and put it down, but I caught her reading it thoroughly later in the day. Hopefully it will spark someting in her to be much kinder to herself.
I am by far the largest woman at my office, yet I get many complements. This is most likely because I carry myself with confidence and don't tear myself apart over every little thing. These other women are indeed beautiful, and it's time they treated themselves with as much respect as they do me and each other. People would never talk to their friends the way they talk about themselves. It's time to put a stop to that!
